Ashley met Jeremy and was first introduced to speed and strength training at the age of 15. When Jeremy opened up Ultimate Athlete, Ashley quickly found her way into the gym and thus began her love of training.
A local product of Hough highschool, Ashley was a member of the women’s soccer team that won the State Championship title in 2014 and took second place in 2015. Holding the record at Hough Highschool for fastest goal scored in a game, Ashley served as a team captain and graduated the program with 4 conference titles, 4 regional titles, and 1 state championship title.
At a young age Ashley was able to gain an understanding of the importance of speed and strength training at Ultimate Athlete, contributing to her commitment to play soccer at University of North Carolina at Wilmington on a full athletic scholarship.
Ashley quickly became a starter for the program and held that starting position all 4 years at UNCW. As a freshman, Ashley earned All Rookie team for the CAA and finished her career with 6 goals and 5 assists. Serving as a team captain from sophomore year through senior year, Ashley garnished 4,881 minutes played, and earned 59 starts in the span of her 4 years. During her time at UNCW Ashley earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and worked closely with athletes and sports psychology department during her undergrad. Ashley is a firm believer in the benefits of Ultimate Athlete and is a product of what buying into the program looks like. She is beyond excited to be back in the gym, coaching and giving back to the place that built her.
